How can I get lower transaction fees for Stripe? (or a waiver of fees)

You can get $10,000 transaction fee waiver (no transaction fees) for the first year on Stripe if you're an existing BEAMSTART member — this is a collaboration perk between Stripe and BEAMSTART, and exclusive to members of the community only.

Once you're a member, you will be able to claim the perk directly from the BEAMSTART team. You will need to fill up a simple form and the Stripe team will upgrade your account to receive the fee waiver within 1 - 2 days.

My suggestion is to only use this perk once your website/business is fully set up and ready to receive transactions. I would also suggest only using it once your transaction volume starts to rise as the perk is only for 1 year.

You could attend events where Stripe is present and connect with one of their team members to request for the fee waiver. They're usually very helpful and would definitely love to onboard your company instead of letting you go to another gateway.
