Tell them about your skills and ask if they have any small task you can help with.
Do the work well and ask for payment plus a recommendation to others.

List ten people from your school or work who could use what you built and send each one a message about it. Tell them the main problem it solves and offer a small discount so they try it and give you their thoughts.
