This website is operated by BEAM PTE LTD and Beamstart Services Sdn Bhd. Throughout the site, “we”, “us”, “BEAMSTART”, and “our” refer to both entities. BEAMSTART offers this website — including all information, tools, and services — conditioned on your acceptance of these terms and the related policies linked here.

By visiting the site or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not access the website or use the services.

BEAMSTART is an online membership portal and community for entrepreneurs, startups, and investors. It includes news, discussions, people and company directories, an investors directory, a deals marketplace, a jobs board, events, and related member tools.

Third-party deals, tools, and offers accessed through BEAMSTART are subject to the provider’s own terms. BEAMSTART is not responsible for liabilities that arise from those third-party services.

Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and for the accuracy of the profiles and contact details you publish. Keep your details up to date. Do not interfere with or tamper with the services, and do not use them for illegal or unauthorized purposes. Do not distribute another member’s personal information to third parties without permission.

You keep ownership of content you publish (profiles, news, jobs, deals, discussions, events, and similar). By publishing, you grant BEAMSTART a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you post. We may remove or refuse content that is misleading, unlawful, spam, or otherwise violates these terms.

Member perks and deals are provided by third parties on their own terms. BEAMSTART may verify listings but is not a party to any agreement you enter with a provider. Redeem and eligibility rules are set by the provider.

Paid membership is billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, as offered at checkout). Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel auto-renewal through the member billing portal. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Full payment, refund, and overdue-payment rules are in the Billing and Refunds policy.

We may amend fees for future billing cycles with reasonable prior notice so you can cancel before the change takes effect. We may suspend or terminate access if we are investigating suspected misconduct.

We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. Copyright complaints and counter-notices are handled under our DMCA policy. We terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

BEAMSTART provides the service “as is”, “with all faults”, and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our directors, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, and content providers are not liable for lost profits, data loss, data theft, substitute goods or services, or any special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages; for bugs, viruses, or similar; or for direct damages in excess of the fees you paid to us for the particular services in the immediately previous one-month period. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the services and cancel membership as described in the billing policy.

The service is operated from BEAMSTART’s headquarters in Malaysia. These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You and BEAMSTART agree that disputes arising from or relating to the service are governed by Malaysian law.

We may modify these terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on the site (and by email when practical) before the changes take effect. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. We may also modify or discontinue parts of the service; we are not liable to you or third parties for modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance.
