BEAMSTART respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable law.

If you believe your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, send a notice through our contact form that includes:

• 1A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
• 2Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
• 3Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (for example a URL)
• 4Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address
• 5A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• 6A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification through our contact form with:

• 1Your physical or electronic signature
• 2Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and where it appeared before removal
• 3A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
• 4Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia for disputes relating to the notice, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or their agent

If we receive a counter-notification, we may send a copy to the original complaining party and inform them that we may restore the material in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the user, we may restore access within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification, at our discretion.

BEAMSTART will promptly terminate without notice the accounts of users we determine to be repeat infringers. A repeat infringer is a user who has been notified of infringing activity more than twice and/or has had infringing material removed from the service more than twice.
