Ethos Partners is a private investment office. We are entrepreneurial providers of supportive capital for cash-generating, fast-growing, ambitious companies in the UK.
The principals create alignment with Ethos’ investors and its investee management teams (together our ‘partners’) by investing their own capital into buyouts and growth capital into the attractive, less competitive, lower mid-market private equity transactions space.
Our principals, Julian Carr and Brian Phillips, are experienced, entrepreneurial investment professionals who have consistently delivered strong investment returns over 25 years investing in over 35 deals each at leading PE houses, Bridgepoint, Hg Capital, Legal & General Ventures, Lloyds Development Capital, and Greenhill Partners.

Ethos Partners leverages its professional investor network and provides capital and expertise to support profitable, fast-growing UK businesses with ambitious management teams to create value for our partners and principals alike.
We are deliberately a low-volume, value-added investor. We seek only to invest in a small number of high-quality private equity deals per annum. We are motivated by capital gains at exit rather than deal volume; assets under management; or fee income.
