WORQ Launches WORQ Well: Malaysia's First WELL-Certified 'Country Club' Coworking Space Achieves Full Occupancy Pre-Launch

Malaysia's premier coworking provider, WORQ, has officially launched WORQ Well, its innovative sub-brand dubbed the “country club” office, emphasizing people-first workplace design.

Situated at Aspire Tower in KL Eco City, this new space integrates seamlessly into an urban ecosystem with direct access to LRT and KTM stations, catering to hybrid workers.

Pioneering WELL Certification in Malaysian Coworking

WORQ Well marks a milestone as Malaysia's first coworking operator to achieve the WELL Coworking Rating from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) in partnership with The Instant Group.

Spanning 34,300 square feet, the facility accommodates up to 500 members and reportedly reached full occupancy even before its grand opening.

The launch event was officiated by Steven Sim Chee Keong, Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development, underscoring governmental support for innovative workspaces.

CEO Insights and Vision for Workplace Wellbeing

Stephanie Ping, Co-Founder and CEO of WORQ, stated, “We are incredibly excited to open our first WORQ Well, bringing together an exceptional workplace experience with a truly people-first environment.”

Ping highlighted that this ambitious project aims to help businesses attract and retain top talent while driving stronger organizational performance.

The Minister echoed this, noting that “workplaces that prioritise wellbeing, flexibility and innovation are essential for sustainable growth” in Malaysia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

WORQ's history includes winning the Best Community Builder at TNGlobal’s ORIGIN Innovation Awards 2021, building on its reputation for community-centric spaces.

This launch impacts the industry by setting new standards for wellness-driven offices, joining global leaders like Novartis, Unilever, and JLL in WELL certification.

Looking ahead, WORQ plans to expand its nationwide network of coworking spaces in collaboration with landlords to foster more inclusive work environments.
