As a frontend engineer, you would be responsible for Voyagin’s UI/UX and coding design changes to the website which all our guests and hosts see. Your responsibilities will include launching features that help travelers book tours and activities quicker and improving the overall experience for users who visit Voyagin. In addition, as a designer on the team, you’ll also be helping us design banners to use for display advertising or even new t-shirts for the team. About Your Team We’re seeing incredible growth, but there’s so much more we can do together! We’re looking for growth leads to lead our future; someone who excels at identifying and executing marketing strategies in search, mobile, remarketing, and Facebook and testing new opportunities. Although we’re a team of over 40+ members at the moment, the growth team is really a startup within a startup with each member on this small but nimble team as creators of the business. As the growth lead, you’ll be responsible for our future success and scaling the business by implementing effective marketing campaigns across various marketing channels, including Google, Facebook, and other roles. About Your Role On a daily basis, you will: Strategize the growth plan and work closely with the product team to build the future of booking things to do Find opportunities in new activities and work with the host acquisition team to onboard them Create and optimize digital campaigns across all digital marketing channels. Run growth experiments on marketing campaigns as well as on the website to optimize the conversion funnel What we’d like to see in you: We’re looking for someone creative, data-driven, great at presenting ideas to the rest of the team, and an experimenter - willing to constantly test new things. We're also looking for the following skillsets: 3 - 5 years of online marketing experience (focus on SEM, Display and/or Social Media Advertising) Hands on experience with one or more global ad platforms (Google, Facebook, AdRoll) and local ad platforms (Baidu, Yahoo! Japan, etc.) Familiarity with A/B Testing (split testing) and running experiments on various digital marketing channels Fluency in English Hands on experience in the creation and optimization of editorial content and copy Good understanding of design and UX processes Proficient in analyzing & presenting data (through presentations, tables, graphs); SQL knowledge a bonus Having been an early part of another startup team a plus Familiarity with Japan or SE Asia, having traveled here in the past (experience in the travel space a bonus) Perks Take part in the amazing travel experiences - we have the best things to do in Asia!
