VinFast Launches New Seven-Seater Electric MPV from Its Growing Indonesia Factory

VinFast has started producing its new VF MPV 7 electric vehicle at the company plant in Subang, Indonesia.

The seven-seater model targets family buyers and forms part of the Limo Green series.

Local Production Marks Big Step Forward

The vehicle comes with a 150 kilowatt motor and offers up to 450 kilometers of range on a 60.2 kilowatt-hour battery under NEDC testing.

Fast charging can take the battery from 10 percent to 70 percent in about 30 minutes.

Buyers in Indonesia will enjoy local voice controls, smartphone app management, and standard safety aids like rear cameras and cruise control.

The Subang facility opened late last year on a large site and aims for eventual output of hundreds of thousands of vehicles each year.

This local build helps VinFast reduce costs and better serve Southeast Asian customers who want affordable electric options.

The rollout supports wider efforts to bring cleaner transport to growing markets while creating jobs in manufacturing.
