VinFast Surges 61% in Q1 2026 EV Deliveries to 58,577 Units Globally, Overseas Sales Hit 4,893

VinFast announced a remarkable 61% year-on-year increase in global electric vehicle deliveries, reaching 58,577 units in the first quarter of 2026.

Of these, 4,893 vehicles were delivered overseas, accounting for 8.4% of the total, while Vietnam accounted for 53,684 units.

VinFast's Top-Selling Models in Vietnam

The seven-seater Limo Green led sales in Vietnam with 12,693 units delivered.

The mini SUV VF 3 followed closely with 11,088 units.

Other popular models included the VF 5 with 8,490 units, VF 6 with 7,819 units, and VF 7 with 5,080 units.

Explosive Growth Across Electric Mobility

Beyond EVs, VinFast delivered 143,136 electric scooters and e-bikes globally, marking a 219% year-on-year surge.

This performance builds on the company's strong 2025 results, where global EV deliveries hit 196,919 units, up 102% from 2024.

Revenue for full-year 2025 reached VND 90,427.6 billion, or about $3.6 billion, reflecting 105.4% growth.

Overseas Expansion and Future Impact

The overseas sales figure signals VinFast's accelerating international push amid intensifying global EV competition.

Domestically, these numbers underscore Vietnam's rising dominance in affordable electric mobility solutions.

Looking ahead, sustained growth in overseas markets could position VinFast as a key player in the global EV landscape by 2027.
