Vietnam Accelerates UAV, 5G, Blockchain and AI Development for 2030 Tech Mastery and Exports

Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology has prioritized six key products for immediate development to drive national progress.

These include UAVs, 5G networks, blockchain-tracking apps and digital assets, Vietnamese large language models with virtual assistants, edge AI cameras, and autonomous mobile robots.

Vietnam's Comprehensive Tech Strategy

This initiative is embedded within a larger framework targeting 11 technologies and 35 products for socio-economic and defense-security advancements.

By 2030, Vietnam aims to master these technologies at a high level with substantial localization to favor homegrown solutions.

Cities including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Danang, Hue, and Can Tho have launched tailored development plans.
