Singapore's Dtcpay Raises $10M in Series A Funding Led by Vertex Ventures SEA & India to Boost Stablecoin Payments

Singapore-based fintech firm dtcpay has successfully raised $10 million in a Series A funding round.

The round was led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India, marking a significant milestone for the digital payments innovator.

Funding Details and Strategic Backing

Dtcpay, founded by Alice Liu and Band Zhao, specializes in bridging digital assets like stablecoins with traditional finance.

The company enables businesses and individuals to accept, store, and transact in stablecoins for everyday use through its real-time swap engine.

Key products include Visa Infinite cards for individuals and corporate card solutions that settle transactions across digital and fiat currencies at competitive rates.

Regulatory Achievements and Global Expansion

Dtcpay holds a Major Payment Institution license from Singapore's Monetary Authority and recently secured an Electronic Money Institution license in Luxembourg.

These licenses, along with registrations in Hong Kong, Australia, the US, and Canada, position dtcpay for regulated growth across multiple regions.

The fresh capital will enhance product suites, strengthen infrastructure, and accelerate entry into high-growth markets, particularly Europe.

Market Impact and Future Outlook

CEO Alice Liu stated that the funding will drive product adoption amid tightening global stablecoin regulations.

Vertex Ventures' Genping Liu highlighted dtcpay's balance of innovation and compliance, poised for mainstream digital payments adoption.

This investment arrives as the stablecoin payments sector eyes billions in market potential, with dtcpay set to lead real-world utility.
