Alibaba-Backed MetaComp Raises $35M Pre-A+ Funding to Expand Web2.5 Payments and Stablecoin Wealth Management
Singapore-based MetaComp has successfully raised $35 million in a Pre-A+ funding round primarily backed by Alibaba.
The investment round also included Spark Venture and several other institutional investors, building on a previous $22 million Pre-A raise.

Strategic Expansion Plans
The fresh capital will fuel the expansion of the StableX Network into high-growth regions including Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
MetaComp also plans to advance its Agent-Skills-MCP architecture, enhancing AI-driven compliance and hybrid financial services.
Co-president Tin Pei Ling emphasized that the funding underscores strong institutional belief in blended traditional and stablecoin infrastructures.
