Singapore Fintech Lyte Raises $4.2M to Empower Freelancers and Real Estate Agents with Instant Financial Tools

Singapore-based fintech platform Lyte has successfully raised US$4.2 million (SG$5.3 million) in its latest funding round.

The investment was primarily contributed by Lim Chap Huat, co-founder of property developer Soilbuild Group, who provided nearly US$3.9 million.

Lyte's Innovative Solutions for Gig Economy

Lyte specializes in financial tools tailored for freelancers, solopreneurs, and real estate agents, including instant commission advances and business wallets.

The platform has already onboarded over 12,000 users and processed more than $1.6 billion in income across Southeast Asia.

Founded by Dennis Goh and CEO Vincent Ha, Lyte launched around 2019 to address cash flow challenges in commission-based professions.

Boosting Impact and Regional Growth

By enabling payouts as fast as one business day, Lyte significantly reduces financial stress for sales professionals waiting on delayed commissions.

Strategic partnerships, such as with ERA Singapore and payment provider Rapyd, have accelerated its market penetration.

The fresh capital will fuel product enhancements, AI integrations, and expansion into new markets like Australia.

Promising Future in Asia's Fintech Landscape

This funding highlights growing investor interest in solutions supporting Asia's booming gig economy amid rising freelance participation.

With MAS licensing and a proven track record, Lyte is well-positioned to lead in real estate fintech innovation.
