Singapore's FORMAS.AI Secures $3.98M Oversubscribed Pre-Seed Funding Led by Vertex Ventures to Transform AI Design in AEC Industry

Singapore-based FORMAS.AI has raised US$3.98 million in an oversubscribed pre-seed funding round.

The round was led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India, with participation from UntroD Capital, Hustle Fund, Big Sky Capital, Orvel Ventures, and prominent angels including Jeffrey Tiong of Patsnap and the Zopim founding team.

FORMAS.AI is an AI-native creative workspace tailored for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals.

Co-founded by CEO Yiping Goh, a former McKinsey partner and exited entrepreneur, and Professor Carlos Bañón, a renowned architect and AI pioneer, the company launched its public beta in November 2025.

Since beta launch, users across 135 countries have generated over 500,000 designs purely through organic inbound demand.

The AEC sector, one of the world's largest yet most underdigitized industries, relies on fragmented tools with steep learning curves.

FORMAS.AI integrates over 60 specialist AI models into a unified platform, enabling seamless sketching, rendering, iteration, and presentation while preserving creative intent.
