OrtCloud, a Singapore-based cloud infrastructure startup, has secured US$1.7 million in pre-seed funding to advance its AI-focused platform.

The round was led by Golden Gate Ventures and Antler, with Antler doubling down on its early backing of the founding team.

Funding Fuels Expansion

Founded in late 2024 by CEO Enyegue Carl Dimick and co-founder Pranay Jain, OrtCloud addresses key pain points in traditional cloud services.

Dimick brings experience scaling developer platforms at Fiverr Korea, while Jain offers expertise as a former Apple engineer in cloud and machine learning.

Revolutionizing Cloud Performance

OrtCloud's deterministic cloud eliminates performance variability from noisy neighbors in shared environments like AWS or Azure through fixed-resource virtual machine tiers.

It offers guaranteed CPU, memory, and storage with flat pricing, available as hosted cloud or on-premises for data sovereignty needs.

Strong Early Traction

The startup boasts seven-figure annual recurring revenue already, with production customers including OpenAI, Samsung, LG Innotek, and universities like KAIST.

Justin Hall from Golden Gate Ventures praised the team's focus on infrastructure pain points essential for AI stacks.

Future Growth Plans

Proceeds will scale infrastructure across APAC and the US while hiring for go-to-market roles.
