QAI Ventures Sparks Quantum Innovation in Singapore with First Accelerator Cohort

Quantum technology is moving from labs to real businesses faster than ever before.
QAI Ventures just launched the first cohort of its Singapore Quantum Accelerator on July 9 2026.
Singapore's Quantum Edge in Asia
The program selects four deep tech startups from 63 applications across 12 countries to help them enter the Asia Pacific market.
Each startup receives SGD 300000 in funding plus coaching and access to global networks.
The five month program runs through October with masterclasses held in Singapore.
Selected companies include Quantum Logic from the Netherlands and Qualia Therapeutics from Armenia.
Singapore has invested in quantum research since 2007 through the Centre for Quantum Technologies.
This accelerator builds on that foundation and aligns with the country's National Quantum Strategy.
Unlocking Real World Quantum Benefits
Startups will gain access to hardware from partners like IonQ and QuEra for practical testing.
The initiative could speed up applications in medicine materials and secure communications that affect daily life.
By bridging science and commerce it positions Singapore as a key hub in the global quantum race.
