Nua Secures $50 Million Funding to Expand Women's Wellness in India

Indian women's wellness startup Nua has closed a $50 million Series C round.
The funding is led by Peak XV Partners and Filter Capital.
Strong Growth Fuels Investor Interest
Existing backers Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures also joined the round.
The round mixes new primary capital with secondary sales that give partial exits to earlier investors.
Nua will use the money to build its brand, widen distribution, and boost research and development.
Founded in 2017, the Mumbai company now serves more than 3 million women monthly with period care, maternity products, and intimate wellness items.
Profitable Scale Signals Market Shift
Its annualised revenue run rate jumped from 100 crore rupees to 500 crore rupees in just 24 months while staying profitable.
This success shows growing demand for specialised local brands in a category long dominated by big multinationals.
Expanded reach could bring better product choices and education to more Indian women, including those in smaller towns.
Looking ahead, Nua plans new categories that may further personalise care and support everyday health needs.
The deal highlights rising confidence in India's consumer startups that combine growth with profits.
