ServAuto Secures Nearly $6M Funding Led by Vynn Capital to Revolutionize Malaysia's Fragmented Automotive Aftersales Market

ServAuto, Malaysia's innovative automotive aftersales platform, has raised new funding bringing its total capital to close to $6 million.

The latest round was led by Vynn Capital, with support from Jelawang Capital, Openspace Capital, SWC Global, and Gobi Partners, alongside strategic angel investors.

Funding Fuels Nationwide Expansion

The new capital will enable ServAuto to expand its product and service coverage while deepening its nationwide workshop network.

Addressing Chronic Market Fragmentation

Malaysia's automotive aftersales sector remains heavily fragmented and offline despite high vehicle ownership, leading to inconsistent quality, opaque pricing, and uncertified parts for consumers.

Founded in 2024 by former Carsome executives including co-founder Phoy Yong Hao, ServAuto solves these issues through a digital platform for online purchases and appointments.

Customers can book via the official website, e-commerce platforms, and integrations with Carsome and Touch ’n Go, with ServAuto ensuring quality by sourcing parts directly and implementing proprietary SOPs in its branded and partner workshops.

Within just 12 months, the platform has served over 30,000 customers nationwide, prioritizing high-frequency services like oil changes and window tinting, plus select accessories.

Strong Backing from Investors

"We saw the same opportunity in aftersales that we saw in the used car market years ago: a massive industry suffering from a lack of trust and standardization," said Phoy Yong Hao.

Vynn Capital's Victor Chua highlighted compelling opportunities at the intersection of mobility and operations in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

Path to Regional Dominance

Investors like Openspace Capital and Gobi Partners praised the team's vision to build a transparent, resilient platform amid growing consumer demand.

Looking ahead, ServAuto plans to scale a consistent nationwide experience and evolve into a dominant regional aftersales leader.
