Tech investor Lachy Groom is leading a new funding round for Pronto, India's fast-scaling on-demand house-help startup, at a whopping $200 million valuation.

The approximately $20 million investment comes as Pronto processes around 25,000 daily orders, up significantly from last year.

Pronto's Explosive Growth Trajectory

Founded in 2025 and based in Bengaluru, Pronto connects households with instant domestic help for cleaning and chores via a managed network of workers.

The startup has expanded from one city to 10 major markets including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, covering over 150 micromarkets.

Last month alone, Pronto completed about 500,000 orders, with bookings growing roughly 20% week over week.

It now boasts more than 4,500 active professionals, with around 99% being women, though demand continues to outpace onboarding efforts.

Funding History and Investor Backing

Prior to this round, Pronto had raised about $40 million, including a $25 million Series B in March 2026 led by Epiq Capital at a $100 million valuation.

The valuation has doubled in just a month, reflecting the startup's hyper-growth in India's burgeoning on-demand services sector.

Lachy Groom, known for early bets on unicorns, sees massive potential in revolutionizing urban household services.

Founder Anjali Sardana highlighted the platform's expansion and worker empowerment in recent statements.
