Emergent, India's pioneering vibe-coding platform, has achieved over $100 million ARR just eight months after launch.

The company simultaneously rolled out its native mobile app for iOS and Android, enabling users to build and publish apps directly via text or voice prompts.

Rapid Growth and Massive User Adoption

Boasting more than 6 million users across 190 countries, Emergent has seen 150,000 paying customers create over 7 million applications.

Nearly 40% of users are small businesses, with about 70% having no prior coding experience, driving demand for digitizing operations from spreadsheets and emails.

Funding and Company Background

Co-founded by CEO Mukund Jha, the San Francisco-headquartered firm with a Bengaluru office raised $70 million led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Khosla Ventures, tripling valuation to $300 million.

Prior to this, it secured a $23 million Series A, fueling its explosive growth in the no-code AI app building space.

The platform's revenue streams include subscriptions, usage-based pricing, and hosting fees, all expanding with improving gross margins.

Mobile App Innovation and Future Outlook

The new app maintains seamless context switching with the desktop version, supporting asynchronous AI workflows for on-the-go development.

"Growth is accelerating as models improve, enabling more users to succeed," stated Mukund Jha.

Looking ahead, Emergent is piloting enterprise offerings focused on security and compliance, while U.S., Europe, and India lead revenue growth.
