Bidso Raises $6.7M Led by Blume Ventures to Transform India's Toy Manufacturing Landscape

Bengaluru-based Bidso, an innovative toy contract manufacturing startup, has secured $6.72 million (63 crore rupees) in fresh funding.

The round was led by leading venture capital firm Blume Ventures, with participation from existing investors.

Bidso's Founding and Growth Story

Established in 2022 by entrepreneurs Rahul Agarwal, Vivek Singhal, and Aditya Krishnakumar, Bidso offers end-to-end solutions from design to manufacturing for toys and merchandise.

Prior to this raise, the company had garnered $1.5 million in seed funding primarily from PeerCapital.

Bidso has already forged multi-year licensing partnerships with global brands like Hasbro, Hello Kitty, and local favorite Chhota Bheem.

Boosting India's Toy Sector

This funding arrives amid government initiatives to bolster domestic toy production and curb imports from China.

By leveraging advanced engineering and controlled manufacturing, Bidso enables brands to scale efficiently in India.

The capital will fuel expansion of manufacturing facilities and technological upgrades.

Future Prospects and Industry Impact

Looking ahead, Bidso aims to position India as a global hub for toy manufacturing innovation.

Investors express strong confidence in Bidso's potential to disrupt the contract manufacturing space.

This milestone highlights the resilience and promise of India's startup ecosystem in niche sectors like toys.
