Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) is ramping up support for fresh graduates pursuing careers in the tech sector.

Senior Minister of State Tan Kiat How announced the launch of TIP Alliance+, extending the program to include local information and digital technology university graduates.

New Initiatives Driving Industry Readiness

The Government Tech Pathway, developed with GovTech and Singapore Computer Society, offers hands-on experience in public sector tech roles.

The Tech Elevation and Career Hub (TECH), in partnership with NTUC’s e2i, serves as a centralized platform for tech jobs, training, and career resources.

These programs will support graduates from ITE, polytechnics, and universities over the next three years, providing structured pathways and real-world exposure.

Proven Track Record of TIP Alliance

Since its 2023 inception, the original TIP Alliance has delivered over 1,000 tech jobs and more than 2,300 year-long internships for ITE and polytechnic students.

It has also encouraged over 200 employers to embrace skills-based hiring focused on practical abilities rather than academic credentials.

TIP Alliance+ equips university graduates with bite-size modules on technical skills and sector-specific knowledge for faster workforce integration.

Upcoming pathways will target financial services and healthtech, broadening opportunities across key industries.
