Dreambase Raises $3.7M Seed Led by Felicis with Supabase Execs Backing AI-Powered Postgres Analytics

Dreambase, an Austin-based AI analytics startup, has secured $3.7 million in seed funding.

The round was led by Felicis, with participation from Active Capital, FirstMile Ventures, Darkmode Ventures, Angel Collective, Earl Grey Capital, and Mercury Fund.

Dreambase's AI Analytics Revolution

Founded in August 2024 by CEO Andy Keil and CTO Kyle Ledbetter, Dreambase specializes in AI data agents tailored for Postgres and Supabase databases.

Keil, formerly head of product at QuotaPath, and Ledbetter, with experience at Teradata and MicroStrategy, launched early access in April 2025.

The platform enables solo founders and enterprise teams to generate dashboards, run analyses, and uncover insights instantly without hiring data teams.

Supabase Executives Join as Key Investors

Supabase's CFO Scott Buxton, CTO, and COO invested personally, impressed by Dreambase's native integration with their open-source Firebase alternative.

Buxton noted, "Dreambase treats Postgres as home, delivering fast dashboards and intuitive AI reasoning over Supabase schemas."

Felicis General Partner Viviana Faga emphasized how AI finally replaces lengthy data team processes for Supabase's 7 million developers.

Future Expansion and Market Impact

Dreambase plans to double its five-person team, focusing on engineering and enterprise sales.

CEO Keil aims to become "the analytics layer for every company running on Postgres worldwide."

This funding accelerates AI-driven analytics, empowering startups to scale data insights from day one amid booming Postgres adoption.
