Digital Edge Secures $665M Green Loan for Indonesia's Largest AI-Ready Hyperscale Data Center Campus

Singapore-based Digital Edge has secured a landmark $665 million green loan to fund the first phase of its ambitious 500MW CGK Campus in Indonesia.

This financing, the largest green loan ever for a data center project in the country, involves key banks like BNP Paribas, DBS, and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk as mandated lead arrangers.

Project Innovations and Sustainability

The CGK Campus, located in Bekasi's GIIC Industrial Estate, is designed as a next-generation facility tailored for AI and hyperscale workloads.

Featuring a targeted Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.25, LEED certification, recycled water systems, and renewable energy integration, the campus prioritizes energy efficiency and low carbon intensity.

Digital Edge, a leader in sustainable digital infrastructure across Asia-Pacific, has a history of advancing carbon-neutral goals, aiming for full neutrality by 2030.
