Bertelsmann Backs Swish With $24M For Faster Food Delivery Across India

Quick food delivery startup Swish has secured $24 million in fresh funding led by Bertelsmann India Investments.

This round builds on the company's rapid growth in the competitive Indian quick commerce space.

Swish Expands Kitchen Network With New Capital

The funds will help Swish add more kitchens and strengthen operations in current cities while entering new ones.

Swish currently runs neighborhood kitchens that deliver meals in 10 to 15 minutes within a one-kilometer radius.

Monthly orders have already tripled to over 1 million since March this year.

Existing investors including Accel, Bain Capital Ventures and Hara Global also joined the round.

Swish was founded in 2024 by Aniket Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja and Saran S in Bengaluru.

Quick Commerce Trends Shape India's Food Future

The investment signals strong confidence in quick commerce models that own kitchens and control the full delivery chain.

This approach could create more local jobs while giving small food businesses access to better technology and scale.

Consumers benefit from fresher options and faster service that fits busy urban lifestyles.

Looking ahead Swish aims to reach thousands of kitchens over the next three to five years and serve 100 million people.

Overall the funding highlights how targeted investments can drive innovation in India's evolving food delivery market.
