Startups & SMEs can Get up to 80% Cost Reduction to Build Apps; Lowering Costs for Digital Transformation
In a move to help startups / SMEs reduce costs and increase profitability by leveraging technology, BEAMSTART has launched a new initiative offering up to 80% cost reduction for businesses looking to build mobile apps, websites, and digital platforms.
The initiative aims to make digital transformation very affordable and quick to implement, helping smaller companies modernize their operations and scale faster in today’s tech-driven economy — especially with the rapid rise of AI that is reshaping industries and disrupting traditional business models.
Cost has been the Biggest Obstacle until Today
For many startups and small businesses, cost remains the biggest obstacle to going digital.
Building a standard mobile app today could average anywhere between $50,000 and $250,000, and does not include additional expenses for hosting, maintenance, and marketing.
As a result, many businesses delay or abandon digital initiatives altogether, limiting their ability to compete, optimize operations, and capture new markets.
This new initiative directly addresses this problem by reducing upfront development costs by up to 80%, allowing companies to reallocate capital toward growth, customer acquisition, and product innovation.

About the Initiative
Unlike traditional grants or agency engagements, this program focuses on speed and delivery.
Eligible applicants are supported by BEAMSTART’s in-house and vetted development teams, ensuring fast, production-ready builds.
Initial product designs can be delivered within 24 - 48 hours, with working prototypes ready in as little as 2 to 4 weeks — a fraction of the time required by conventional software development processes.

Go-to-Market Support is Provided
Beyond just lowering costs, the initiative is designed to help businesses actually launch and get their products into the market.
BEAMSTART supports participating companies not only in building their apps, but also in getting them to real users/cutomers — including complimentary marketing support, go-market access, and funding opportunities.
The goal is simple: to ensure these companies aren’t just building software, but creating real products that people use and that deliver real business results.
"For too long, building a mobile apps and digital platforms have been seen as something only well-funded companies could afford. By dramatically lowering costs and speeding up development, this initiative opens the door for many more businesses to compete digitally”, mentioned Kenneth Ho, Managing Director of BEAMSTART.
Who Should Apply
The program is currently open to registered enterprises, partnerships, and limited liability companies, with plans to expand eligibility in the future.
Interested businesses can apply through the official form, where submissions are reviewed for suitability before being accepted into the program.
