About the Role
This is a ground floor opportunity to join Hotglue as an early team member and directly shape our trajectory. As a Technical Consultant, you'll own the technical relationship with our customers—from onboarding and implementation to ongoing support. The work is high impact and high visibility: you're the person customers rely on to get their integrations running. You'll work closely with engineering and product to squash bugs, manage feature rollouts, and shape our roadmap based on what you see firsthand.
Note: This is an in-office role in Washington, DC
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout onboarding, implementation, and beyond
- Dig into real problems when they come up: triage issues, trace data through pipelines, and find where things break
- Scope new features based on customer feedback and work with engineers to spec and ship them
- Become a deep expert in Hotglue and our 300+ integrations, then translate that knowledge into docs, videos, and live demos for customers and prospects
- Help build the foundation for how we work with customers as the company scales
The Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years in consulting, data analytics, solutions engineering, or a similar client-facing role
- You’re a strong communicator who can translate both ways between technical and non-technical audiences
- You've spent real time with data — pulling, cleaning, analyzing, moving it between systems.
- You are familiar with technical concepts like REST APIs and integrations
- You default to action over perfection and figure things out as you go
- (Bonus) Can write and understand Python code to help our customers debug issues
