The Role

In this role, you will ensure that Axel delivers a seamless travel experience to every customer. When issues arise in the chat or during the booking process, you will step in to resolve them quickly and thoughtfully while aiming to exceed customer expectations. This is highly detail-oriented work that requires navigating multiple databases and knowledge systems to identify root causes, resolve problems, and prevent them from recurring.

You will spend your days balancing immediate problem-solving with long-term planning and analysis, turning daily resolutions into process improvements. A key part of this role is leading and coordinating a global team of contractors, ensuring they are equipped to provide consistent high-quality support both inside Axel’s chat experience and across every touchpoint with our customers.

You will work closely with our engineering team to continuously improve Axel’s systems and features. This means sharing insights from customer interactions, helping prioritize fixes and enhancements, and thinking ahead about how to make the experience more reliable and scalable over time. Success in this role requires both quick thinking to address immediate challenges and a long-term mindset to design solutions that make Axel better every day.

Beyond problem-solving, you will be a representative for our customers’ most requested features. You will tap into the wealth of knowledge they provide us and help to prioritize ways to make Axel better. 

Requirements

  • Work in person in Bellevue, WA
  • Familiarity with SQL and AI Data Analytics


Nice To Have

  • Experience with CRM platforms (Intercom preferred)
  • Experience managing support teams
