Founding Designer

We are hiring for a Founding Designer at MediSearch. This is an exciting opportunity to own the visual direction of growth efforts at a fast-growing startup.

We will also consider people with no job experience. We require that you work at least 50% of your time in-person in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Company Description

MediSearch (YC S23) is a search engine for medical information. We provide direct answers to medical questions based on trustworthy sources using LLMs.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Founding Designer at MediSearch, focused primarily on ad creative and growth design. You’ll work closely with the founders to design, iterate, and scale high-performing creative across channels. Occasionally, you’ll also contribute to core product design.

This is an in-person role, based in Bratislava, Slovakia, with some flexibility for remote work, but will require significant on-site involvement.

Qualifications

• Strong visual design skills with a portfolio showing ad creative or product work
• Ability to move fast: generate concepts, produce variants, iterate from feedback
• Comfort collaborating with engineers/marketers and working from data
• Strong motivation for working on challenging problems and in high-paced environments
• Experience designing for paid channels is a bonus
• Motion design is a bonus
• Product design experience is a bonus
