I'm hiring a full-stack AI engineer at Maintouch.
The basics
- Maintouch builds AI agents to automate the trillion-dollar marketing agency industry.
- We've grown insanely fast in the last 9 months (can share numbers privately), and power the growth systems for nearly 50+ of the fastest-growing companies in the world.
- Marketing is a series of micro-decisions based on responses to data. Maintouch connects to all your marketing data sources to plan and execute growth strategies like an expert would.
- I (founder) grew up working at my family's marketing agency. We're taking those learnings to automate all that work.
- Lean team of 8. Ex-founders and experts working in person in SoHo, NYC.
Why join?
- We've hit the coding singularity. Models can write code. The bottleneck is now taste, architecture, and knowing what to build. You'll operate at the frontier of what's possible when engineers and AI build together.
- You'll help build the system that automates growth and have a career-defining win. If you want to eventually start your own company, there is no better place to be.
- Autonomy. You'll own outcomes end-to-end. There are no handoffs, which means no space between you and impact. You run the show.
- You'll ship a lot that directly generates millions in pipeline a month.
- Get to tell your grandkids you helped build a generation-defining company in the LLM boom.
What you'll do:
- Build and ship autonomous agents that do the work marketing agencies charge thousands of hours for. End-to-end ownership from architecture to production.
- Own core product surfaces. You're not implementing specs. You're talking to customers, figuring out what to build, and shipping it.
- Push the boundaries of what LLMs can reliably do in production. Prompt engineering, tool use, multi-step planning, evaluation
- Work across the full stack. We use Hono, TypeScript, Svelte, and Postgres.
- Fill gaps, unblock problems, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks as we scale.
What we're looking for
- AI-pilled. You've internalized that the way software gets built has fundamentally changed. You use AI tools obsessively and have strong opinions on how to build with them.
- Experience building agents or complex LLM-powered systems in production. Not toy demos, but real workflows that run autonomously and handle edge cases.
- Product engineer mindset. You care about what you're building and why, not just how. You talk to users and make tradeoff decisions, not just tickets.
- Strong across frontend and backend.
- Absolute grinder.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
- Has worked at a high-growth startup and thrived in the chaos.
About the process
We move fast: quick call with founder → deeper call with an engineer → take-home assessment (please use AI) → final call to go over assessment → offer.
Start date ASAP. No remote. No students.
If this sounds exciting, we'd love to chat.
