AI Impact Summit

The India – AI Impact Summit is a high-profile global event organized by India’s Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) through the IndiaAI Mission. It’s framed around “impact” rather than just governance or safety, emphasizing AI’s practical deployment and real‑world outcomes — especially for the Global South. 

A big component of the summit is a Research Symposium that brings together researchers, students, industry experts, and policymakers.  The symposium has dedicated tracks for global research, as well as a posters showcase focused on the Global South, promoting inclusive and policy-relevant AI research. 

Another key feature is the AI for ALL: Global Impact Challenge, which invites innovators (individuals, startups, researchers) to submit AI solutions for social good.  The challenge covers sectors like agriculture, healthcare, education, financial inclusion, and sustainability.  Winners get substantial rewards, mentorship, and opportunities to scale their solutions.
