Asia Women Circle @ Lean In Org
Asia Women Circle (AWC) is a women empowerment platform that aims to address the two key issues of women dropping out of the workforce, and also the lack of women in senior management positions. Established in 2015, AWC aims to further promote quality discourse via The Circle Dialogues which are unique to the cultural background that exists in Malaysia. AWC aims to empower, educate and enable women to define their success. Additionally, the Circle also attempts to reach out to males via their programmes. Today, AWC comprises of over 20 working committee members and has around 3000 #leanincommunity members who are working hard at creating awareness and asking the right question to kick-start conversations that will influence change towards a more inclusive and supportive society. This is what we are at Asia Women Circle @ LeanIn.Org – a multi-racial Malaysian circle of women from different industries & backgrounds championing women supporting each other for success.
