About Veronica De Vera
I have worked as an administrative assistant for a total of 8years-- six (6) years at the Department of Tourism and two (2) years at Security Bank Corporation.
My most recent role was an Events Officer. My tasks were to evaluate sponsorship letters submitted to the bank, coordinate with the organizer if approved, and process the sponsorship payment. Also, I'm assisted the Events Unit Head in terms of the logistical requirements needed for the execution of corporate events of the bank. As for my administrative skills, I offer significant abilities and experience in organizing, prioritizing, confidentiality of documents, and detailed preparation of reports and projects. My ability to get along well with others, to make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines, and effectively coordinate in fast-paced environments have all contributed to my growth in this field and my employer placing a significant degree of trust in me.
I am excited to embark on a new challenge: being a stay-at-home mom. My aspiration in life is to be a successful virtual assistant and/or still having an income and job while being a mother and wife.
Every day brings something new and different and that surprise is motivating to me. I like learning new things that I never could have imagined I would have encountered or comprehended. Learning is what I love about my job the most. For me it's about finding ways to be more effective. I always want to see what's around the next corner, and having the freedom to apply that learning to the work I do every day.
I have a natural desire to travel and learn from people, places and different cultures. I want to be able to relate to different types of people and their culture. Also, I loved watching TV series and planning itineraries for our travels.
