About
Supporting mission-driven founders since 1996
For over 25 years, we’ve worked with exceptional entrepreneurs to build industry-defining companies. Thomvest Ventures invests the funds of our founder, Peter J. Thomson, and his family, so we are committed to working alongside the entrepreneurs we back.
We're focused
We have a strong tradition of doing independent research in our core investment areas. This helps our portfolio companies understand their markets, including how to scale their companies.
We can scale
Our investments range from seed to Series C, and we can lead investments irrespective of stage.
We work on your behalf
We have developed a core set of expertise around our industries - with a focus on customers and partners, industry know-how, and financial benchmarking - that we use to assist our portfolio companies. We also oversee working groups to help ourselves, and our portfolio companies understand the solutions critical technology users, such as CIOs and CISOs are looking to solve.
We're involved
We do more than provide capital for our portfolio companies. We have deep expertise in the categories we invest in, and we use that expertise to help our founders navigate their respective paths to scale. We leverage our network to help companies with key customers and partners. We also leverage our experience across specific domains such as marketing and finance to help the teams at our portfolio companies. In short, we are totally focused on leveraging our experience, network, and skillset to help our portfolio companies succeed.
