Tarnagulla Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Melbourne, Australia. We are global in scope and provide early-stage investments with strategic value to promising companies in the healthcare space.

Philosophy.

Less is more.

Our investments are less frequent, but more concentrated. This allows us to spend much of our time helping our existing portfolio companies develop and nurture them with strong strategic support.

It's a journey.

We are value investors, and see the initial investment decision as only the start of a long-term partnership.

Beyond financial capital.

While financial capital is key, it’s not all. We prefer investing in companies where we can also provide intellectual capital by leveraging our strong expertise in the life science space.

We are exclusively a life science investor.

Over the years, we have invested in a number of life science companies and started some ourselves. This has helped us gain a breadth of experience, particularly in small-molecule, protein, and cell-based therapeutics.

We are Australian, yet global.

Although we are headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, most of our investments are in US-based companies. We are agnostic on the location of the company we invest in, but we have a focus on bringing promising medical technology to the Australian and US markets.
