About Tan Norizan & Associates
THE BEGINNING
Tan Norizan & Associates (“TANORIZ”) was established on 1st February 2002 under the joint effort of Tan Lee Eng and Norizan Binti Hj Yaakub. In 2010, Norizan left the partnership in 2010 when she ceased practice.
THE GROWTH AND EXPANSION
Subsequent to incoming of the mixed vibrant energies of new Partners from 2012 onwards, the Firm grew from a 7-member team to a team of 25 lawyers supported by 35 support staff and 6 pupils-in-chambers in 2017. We are now a mid-sized full service law firm offering legal services and solutions from our new 12,000-sq-ft and 2-level Penthouse Office Suites located in Kelana Square, Petaling Jaya. The Firm was first renowned for its expertise in real estate matters and then began to expand across a wide range of practice areas including banking and finance, dispute resolution, intellectual property, information technology, corporate and commercial, criminal and family law.
PHILOSOPHY
For over 15 years, we have been representing a diversified clientele base from individuals to government linked entities, multinationals, financial institutions and corporation across a wide range of industries. We assume every working relationship with our clients as a long-term partnership. We place client relationships as our top priority. We also take time to understand the distinct demands of clients and learn about the industry in which they operate in order to understand what each client will find valuable. In line with our close position with various local industries from banking, real estate, construction, trading, manufacturing, entertainment to publishing, we understand our clients’ needs and endeavour to meet their expectation while at the same time remain strongly committed to maintaining our values of integrity, commitment and professionalism.
