About Salawu Idris
My vision for Idris International and Integrated Farms is to be a leading world-class farm that will have respect for nature and climate changes, pilot agrarian revolution in Nigeria using research, modern technology and innovations to unlock, utilize the numerous potentials and treasures in Agriculture in order to bring about positive changes in the economy, impact positively in the community, Nigeria, Africa and Global community.
I'm a researcher, confident, focused, excellent results oriented and dynamically thinking entrepreneur, graduated from the University of Ilorin, studied microbiology and applying the knowledge of soil and industrial microbiology to enhance agricultural practices, also have vast knowledge in farming and agribusiness.
I was a senator in the Faculty of science, University of Ilorin, a welfare director during my National Youth Service Corps(NYSC) in Nigeria. I'm a leader that always wants to help solve problems and impact positively in lives of people to bring about community development.
We have capable team leaders with good qualities and experience, achieving great success is so much feasible as we work based on a real-life scenario road map towards attaining the vision and think outside the box to bring about innovations which help to overcome challenges.
Idris International and Integrated Farms is presently cultivating cassava and maize, will include cultivation of Soybeans, beans, rice and cotton this year. The company have very good relationship with many processing factories in Nigeria, signed Memorandum Of Understanding(MOU) with them and issued Local Purchase Order(LPO) by the processing companies.
Idris International and Integrated Farms have supplied more than 500 tonnes of cassava tubers to processing factories and will soon be supplying at least 1000 tonnes monthly.
The company is working towards establishing cassava processing factory for processing cassava tubers to starch and High Quality Cassava Flour(HQCF).
