Founded in 2014, S2G was built on the conviction that business can be a force for good and one of the most infinitely scalable tools to effect change.

At inception, S2G focused exclusively on food and agriculture companies – applying lessons from a changing consumer to corresponding innovation across the value chain. As early entrants in the food and ag investment landscape, S2G deployed a dedicated sector strategy focused on systems-based ecosystem collaboration and active company involvement. After demonstrating the efficacy of this strategy, S2G deployed the same model to two adjacent and interconnected sectors with similar characteristics: Oceans and Energy. 

Today, S2G is a $2.5 billion multi-stage investment firm focused on venture and growth-stage businesses across food, agriculture, oceans, and energy.
