Who We Are

Riverwalk Holdings is an India-focused venture fund investing in companies from Seed to Series B. We’re anchored by the Thakral Group and have raised capital from leading Asian family offices. As a team, we’ve been investing in India for over a decade, and Riverwalk is not our first chapter.

Built from the success of SGAN, the family office of the Thakral Group, we marked our entry into venture capital in 2014. With 60+ startup investments and 7+ LP positions across India and Southeast Asia, SGAN’s journey laid the foundation for what Riverwalk is today: An institution focused on returns over fund size, led by a deeply committed investment team with real skin in the game.

From Seed to Series B, we’re a steady and active partner to ambitious founders, helping them turn bold ideas into category-defining businesses across SaaS, Consumer, Tech for Legacy Industries and Fintech. Founder-first in every sense, we offer more than capital through on-ground support, a global network, and strategic access to our network across real estate, technology, consumer product distribution, and manufacturing.
