I am Rahul, Associate Director, Vruksh Ecosystem Foundation.
Vruksh Ecosystem Foundation is an Innovation Think-Tank building a cohesive Innovation, Incubation, Mentoring, Maker & Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. We facilitate economic development through innovation and entrepreneurship, designed to suit the needs of the geography. As Vruksh Ecosystem, we are hosting a Pitch Event Series in South Asia region called the MisFits. As the name suggests, we are looking for the square pegs in the round holes who are inclined to make a change and drive impact in their communities.
The Misfits is focused towards providing a stage to Social Impact Change-makers, be it startups, non-profits or innovators who are building solutions (tech or non-tech) that can improve the Quality of Life in their regions. The Pitch sessions will happen virtually in 15 locations across the South Asian region, each location will host 10-15 pitches, of which top two will be selected for a Mega Pitch Event that will showcase the top 30 Misfits from the region.
