MUFG Innovation Partners

Mitsubishi UFJ Innovation Partners (MUIP) was established in 2019 as the corporate venture capital (CVC) of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG). MUFG's purpose is to "become the power that moves the world forward," and our raison d'être is to contribute to customers and society as a financial group by providing products and services that are optimal for everyone.

MUIP's mission is to "transform finance together with startups," and, starting with investments in advanced startups in Japan and overseas, MUIP has promoted collaboration between various domestic and international divisions of MUFG and the startups it invests in. In addition to the two-way relationship between startups and MUFG, we also aim to promote three-party open innovation by collaborating between startups and MUFG to contribute to solving the management issues of MUFG's corporate customers. Since its establishment, we have been promoting a policy called ``Winds''.

As a corporate venture capital firm and a member of the MUFG Group, we would like to work with startups to realize our vision of "enabling everyone in the world to easily access optimal financial services."
