The STEM·E Youth Career Development Program aims to build the workforce of tomorrow, while also enhancing under-represented women & minorities in STEM professions and leadership roles. Through STEM and Entrepreneur workshops, boot camps, and an annual career fair, we educate K-12 students in critical thinking skills such as creativity, innovation, problem solving, and business skills. Through these efforts we aim to build the leaders of tomorrow by changing the face of education today.
The Freedom Business Alliance (FBA) was created to help freedom businesses grow in size, profitability, and impact by connecting them with business expertise, new markets, investors, and a collaborative community of fellow freedom businesses. We see the Freedom Business Forum event as a type of “one stop shop” for strategic solutions.
Our Objectives:
To promote the long term environmental sustainability of the Selwyn District with the understanding that this is also the basis for social, cultural and economic sustainability in the future.
To educate about and raise awareness of environmental sustainability issues and to provide information about how to achieve environmental sustainability.
To provide appropriate opportunities for personal and community decision making to ensure that the environmental, social, cultural and economic sustainability of the Selwyn District is promoted.
To act as a role model for other communities wanting to progress towards environmental sustainability.
