China Merchants Capital Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Merchants Capital") was established in 2012 with a registered capital of 2 billion yuan (RMB). Its domestic operations headquarters are located in Shenzhen and its international operations headquarters are located in Hong Kong. China Merchants Capital is an important subsidiary of China Merchants Group. In 2020, it promoted mixed-ownership reform by introducing strategic investors. It is now a joint venture of China Merchants Group and GLP, specializing in alternative investment and asset management business.
