Red Baobab Ltd (UK) is a fund management company looking for a sponsor/partner who can invest a startup capital of USD 350,000 in exchange for 20% in the company so we can set up in Mauritius a buy-out fund for private equity investments in Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) agriculture and operate for 2 years until the first management fee of 2% is paid. The fund will be capitalized by its Limited Partners at $40-$50 Million in an 8-year term with 15-25% IRR, so the management fee of 2% of the fund capital will equal ca USD 1M, and your 20% in our shares will pay back to you ca USD 150,000 annually from the management fee. About the same will be coming from our performance fee. Add to the above the transaction fees. After the first fund we’ll set up next one with higher capitalization and higher fees.
