About Matteo Bucci
I am co-founder of FERVERET and faculty in Nuclear Science and Engineering at MIT, where I conduct research and teach classes on heat transfer and nuclear reactor design. My field of expertise is boiling heat transfer. I am also a consultant for the nuclear industry and editor of Applied Thermal Engineering. I graduated from the University of Pisa, Italy (M.Sc. 2005, Ph.D. 2009), and before joining MIT and FERVERET, I have worked as a researcher at CEA Paris, France.
Companies & Work
Ferveret
Ferveret develops liquid cooling solutions inspired by nuclear power plant cooling. We save data centers 96% in cooling costs, 68% on capital costs, and reduce their carbon footprint by 40% while increasing chip performance by 2X. Today, about 40% of the electricity used in these facilities is wasted on cooling.
Our technology eliminates this wasted energy.
