Shopee has announced that Facebook Ads is now officially available on Shopee Seller Centre for merchants in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
The feature is currently available to selected sellers in the mentioned countries during the initial phase with it being more widely available to more merchants in the near future.
"Establishing a partnership with Meta (formerly known as Facebook) to launch Facebook Ads on Shopee Seller Centre will greatly benefit sellers which they can leverage with other Shopee marketing solutions to increase the visibility of their Shopee store," said Kenneth Soh, head of marketing and campaigns at Shopee Malaysia.

- According to Shopee, the decision aims to help sellers drive traffic to their official stores and it will enable a community of 20 million merchants from Southeast Asia to grow their businesses with the new tool.
- Shopee also reported that 95% of its users rely on Facebook and Instagram to discover new brands and products and this integration will help drive traffic to the merchant's Shopee stores.
- The Singapore-based multinational technology company also added that Facebook Ads allows for greater ad personalisation depending on users’ preferences and behaviours on the platform which will in turn, enhance order conversion and maximise sales growth.
- Shopee Seller Center is a platform for merchants to manage their stores, access to marketing and data tools to edit or create listings, run promotions, and analyse detailed performance data for optimisation.
