Southeast Asia's ride-hailing and payments giant, Grab, has formed a new partnership with Nas Academy, the learning school by popular video creator, Nas Daily.
The goal of the new partnership is to groom 100 aspiring content creators across Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines via a four-week learning course, also known as the “GrabForGood x NAS Academy Creator Course”.
Participants selected to be part of the course will be trained in areas of scriptwriting as well as video filming, editing, and publishing.
Selected participants will also gain access to a virtual online lab where they will be able to receive live feedback and technical support.
Once the course ends, graduates will automatically be part of the Grab for Good Fellows alumni, where they will have access to resources, trainers, and special perks from Grab to help them continue their video production journey.
Since their launch in Singapore, Nas Academy has been offering a wide range of courses to help people develop the skills to become online content creators.
Nas Academy has over 2000 students from 51 countries, with over 95% course completion rate.
“This year, we were inspired by stories of so many individuals and businesses in our community who have shown grace, grit, and ingenuity as they come together to help one another and fight to adapt to the new normal,” said Cheryl Goh, group vice president of marketing at Grab.
