Singapore's JTC has announced a major expansion of its LaunchPad@OneNorth program, granting startups exclusive access to 19 global startup nodes worldwide.
New partnerships with NUS Enterprise and INSEAD enable LaunchPad startups to utilize co-working spaces, investor networks, and ecosystem partners in key innovation hubs.
Global Reach for Singapore Startups
This network spans cities like Paris, San Francisco, Shenzhen, Tokyo, and Jakarta, allowing startups to test product-market fit with minimal commitment.
Additional soft-landing support includes pre-trip preparation, community events, and introductions to local investors and customers.
A partnership with Enterprise Singapore's Global Innovation Alliance further strengthens market expansion opportunities.
New Facilities Enhance Collaboration
The newly launched The Meeting Point at LaunchPad@OneNorth serves as a dedicated co-working and event space for networking and investor meetings.
Local access to One&Co's Central Business District co-working spaces provides flexibility for meetings with clients and partners.
The LINK network has grown to include new partners like CapitaLand Development, City Developments Limited, Esri Singapore, and SoftBank Robotics, connecting over 60 startups since 2022.
History, Policies, and Future Vision
Building on a decade of success housing over 2,400 startups, JTC introduces startup-friendly policies such as two months rent-free for fitting out and flexible leases.
Entry criteria now welcome scale-ups to foster collaboration between established firms and early-stage ventures.
Future developments include Kampong AI by 2028, Singapore's first integrated AI startup community, and LaunchPad@PDD from late 2026.
Minister Alvin Tan highlighted the initiatives' role in creating real connections, while JTC's Yap Eai-Sy emphasized global connectivity from Asia's dynamic hub.
