Quiboloy in govt custody, ending KOJC standoff - Business Mirror

Quick Summary:

DAVAO CITY—Fugitive Apollo Quiboloy, the leader of a religious sect who is facing human-trafficking and sexual exploitation cases, has surfaced on Sunday ending several months of hiding.

Quiboloy later announced on February this year that he was “in hiding” for fear of his life over allegations that the Marcos administration has allowed US operatives a free hand in dealing with him.“Since 2018 until now, we can no longer feel at ease in our own country; we have lost our freedom because we are under surveillance here.

The Davao and Pasig courts issued warrants of arrest on Quiboloy, as with the Senate also for his failure to heed the summon it issued.
