A tale of two sustainable cities - Business Mirror

Quick Summary:

I have traveled to Karlsruhe in Germany many times over the course of ten years and saw the city’s transformation into a "green city.” So when I visited Utsunomiya in Japan recently as part of a MICE (meeting, incentive travel, convention and exhibition) destination familiarization tour, I can’t help but observe the similarities of both cities.

Karlsruhe’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond transportation, with extensive urban greening projects, energy conservation efforts, and waste reduction initiatives.
